Joy of Motion is a place for people of all ages to experience dance in many forms. It started as a opportunity for young girls to learn classical ballet, as well as lyrical and worship dance. Over the past three years, the vision for Joy of Motion has grown to include various ages, types of dance, and performance opportunities. The main focus of the studio continues to be providing classical ballet training to students, but with complementary styles of dance incorporated into classes as needed for variety.
Joy of Motion students have performed at local venues such as New Life Ranch, Harvard Avenue Baptist Church, Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morning Side of Fayetteville, the EOA Children's House, the Cathedral of the Ozarks, and Berry Performing Arts Center at John Brown University.
New Registration Process: We're making some changes to our registration process this year. Instead of registering in-studio like previous years, we've added a feature that allows you to register online by filling out a short survey (5-10 minutes). To do this, just click the button below and get started. Fall classes will begin August 15th.
Classes & Instructors: In addition to Joy of Motion's ballet class offerings, hip hop will also be offered this year. Anna Fendley will continue to teach ballet and is very excited to welcome back Elana Carson to the Joy of Motion team. Elana will teach the hip hop classes. For more information on our instructors, please see the "About" tab in the navigation menu at the top of this page. To register, click the button above. Class times and pricing can be found in our "Schedule" tab in the navigation menu.
We are excited to welcome all new and returning dancers to the Joy of Motion family for the 2016-2017 school year!
